Adeline Knapper sadly passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 77. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when needed, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community in Saskatoon, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength. She volunteered extensively in her community, and at the church. She loved the work she did as a Special Care Aide, always bringing positivity to the workplace. Adeline was a lifelong reader who loved to camp, spending many summers at the campground. She was also a very good 5 pin bowler, and was proud of her near-perfect game scoring 395 points in league play. She was an avid fan the Toronto Blue Jays and made several trips to watch the team play in various cities. She loved to play, watch, and attend curling events, with a highlight being attending the Brier every year for a significant period of her life. She spent countless hours on crafts and cross-stitching intricate scenes and showpieces for everybody except herself.
She was predeceased by husband Albert and brother Allan. She leaves behind brothers Ken, Gerald, and Jerome; sons Jim, Brian (Jen), and Terry (Kara); daughter Kelly (Jack); adopted son and daughter Bernie and Lisa; grandchildren Erik, Wesley, Joe, Jacob, Adam, Melissa, and Vanessa; along with countless friends, family and coworkers who felt her warmth and generosity.
Donations can be made to Telemiracle or a charity of your choice.
A service will be held in her honour at 11:00a.m. on Friday, June 20, at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 1121 Northumberland Avenue, Saskatoon.
