ALEXANDRIA JOHANNA HAFSTEINN April 18,1927 - March 26, 2017 It is with sadness that the family of Alexandria (Alex) Hafsteinn announces her passing on March 26, 2017 at Sunnyside Nursing Home. She is survived by her brother William Mylymok and cousin Jeanne Walters and many nieces and nephews. Alex was predeceased by her husband Bjorn (Bud), her brothers Raymond and Paul and parents William and Anna Mylymok. Alex loved music and was a gifted singer and music teacher. She was a prolific reader and a faithful listener to CBC Radio. Alex was a legal steno and her journalist talent was appreciated as an assistant editor of the Western Producer.
