Anne Rose Evans

Anne Rose Evans Mrs. Anne Rose Evans (Penner) passed away surrounded by her loving family at the age of 92 on Febraury 11, 2017. Mom was born on September 17, 1924 to Peter and Mary (Gammel) Penner. She married her sweet heart Roy Leslie Evans on Oct. 18, 1944 and started a family in Saskatoon. Mom will be greatly missed by her childen: Darrell (Sandra), Gail Wilson (Duffy), Dianne Richardson (Lorne), Les (Lee), Arlene Reid (Scott), Sharon McDole (Ron), Gary (Mary-Ann), Brian (Robbie), Bonnie Schatz (Kelly); daughter-in-law Donna Evans; 22 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren; sister Ruth Eberz, and brother Arley Penner. Mom was predeceased by her son, Wayne; husband, Roy; parents, Peter and Mary Penner; step mother, Helen Penner; sisters, Joyce and Gloria. With love and care mom raised her 10 children and continued to care for her grandchildren. Mom was a very talented seamstress, cake decorator and cook. Her hobbies were knitting, crocheting, puzzles, scrabble, and quilting.
