Archer Jack Wittchen

Archer Jack Wittchen was born into this world a fighter. He experienced so much in his short 40 days that demonstrated his strength and his fight and his bravery.

Archer is loved fiercely by his parents Stacy & Logan, by his big sisters Rylie & Bryce. He is missed dearly by his grandparents Norm & Melanie Pritchard and Jackie & Larry Wittchen, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Archer watched the world around him and took in everything he could. He especially enjoyed looking outside. He had a sense of humour and was tricky with his amazing nurses (and mom) to get extra attention. He loved his swing and hated having his temperature taken.

In his short 40 days with us, Archer visited 2 provinces and flew on 2 planes. And his journey taught us all so much about a different side of parenting.

Archer's CHD is called Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). For which there is no cure. We were on a journey of palliative surgeries to give him the best life possible. And he had that - even if it was only 40 days.

Goodbye is not forever,
Love is.
