Arlene V. Giesbrecht

August 22, 1939 ~ June 30, 2024

We are sad to announce the passing of our mom, Arlene Giesbrecht (nee: Lejour) on June 30, 2024.  She was born August 22, 1939 in Lestock , SK but resided in Saskatoon most of her life.

Mom is survived by three daughters; Kim (George) Roufosse, Gail Giesbrecht, and Kristie Giesbrecht (Jeremy); grandchildren; Brad Roufosse, Joey Roufosse, Deanna Roufosse  and Vincent Wilkes as well as seven great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by nieces Lesle (Chuck) Pelletier and Nicole King, both of Regina .

She was predeceased by grandparents; parents; a sister, Alvina; brother, Vern and “brother” George.

At mom’s request there will be no memorial service, but a private family gathering at a later date.

We would like to thank Dr. Mark Fenske for his kindness and caring, as well as the staff and palliative care team at St. Paul ’s hospital as well as the staff at Glengarda.

Arrangements are entrusted to Saskatoon Funeral Home who we would like to thank for their help at this hard time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an animal rescue of your choice as mom’s beloved Tucker was a rescue and brought her many years of joy.
