Barbara Elaine Cuming

Barbara Elaine Cuming (nee Thornton) was born in Winnipeg Manitoba on July 10, 1950.  She passed away suddenly at Saskatoon on August 18, 2018.  Barb is survived by her husband of 47 years, Doug, daughter Shannon, daughter Karen (Korey), grandson Hunter, her brother Robert (Tracy) Thornton and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.  Barb attended Churchill School, Aden Bowman Collegiate and Evan Hardy Collegiate and business college in Saskatoon.  She married Doug Cuming on September 18, 1970.  Barb and Doug resided in Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Regina, Gladstone, Hamiota and Brandon, Manitoba, Edam, Saskatchewan and in North Battleford at the time of her passing.  In keeping with Barb’s wishes, there will be no memorial service.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Barb may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, or Canadian Cancer Society.
