It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Barb on February 13th, 2025, at Samaritan Place.
Barb is survived by her daughter Daphne (Trevor), son Chad (Jo Ann)

Brothers in law Roy (Pam), Alf Richardson, Sister-in-Law Marguerite Irvine, and many nieces and nephews. As well as her beloved four-legged friend Liv.
She is predeceased by her husband Art Kemp, brother Gerry Irvine and sister in law Mona.
Barb was known for her vivacious smile and laugh right up till her passing.
She attended Wilson Elementary and City Park Collegiate.
She graduated from Saskatoon Business College
And later balanced her career with raising her busy family.
Mom held many positions over the years starting at Web and Webster early on but notably took interest in Marketing with News Marketing Canada that allowed her to travel and meet new people.
Barb was very social, she loved golf, curling, bowling, travel, her yard, lunch with the ladies, her multiple pets through the years, the odd glass of wine and her time relaxing watching her shows.
Barb could be found spending time with family at her cabin at Candle Lake or cheering on her grandkids as she was their biggest fan.
She was active in sports in her early years. Barb made lifelong friendships through life at the rink during Arts hockey and coaching. Later in life she could be found on the course, at the pool, or walking the dogs. Always stopping to talk to someone.
Barb loved to volunteer, she started early as a Cub Scout leader, sitting on the Boards for both the Saskatoon Figure Skating Club and Knights Hockey Asc for many years as well as the Board of Harold Latrace Arena since its inception.
The family extend heartfelt thank you to Samaritan Place Emma Cottage for their love and kindness to mom.
