Barry James Senko

It is with great sadness that the family of Barry Senko announce his passing on June 19,2026, at the age of 67, in the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.

Barry was born October 19, 1958 at the Humboldt hospital and was raised on the family farm near Plunkett, Saskatchewan. He graduated from Viscount High School in 1976 and in 1985 he married the love of his life, Sandra Kostur. Shortly after graduating from high school, Barry started working in the construction industry and started Prairie Drywall in 1988.

In his youth, Barry enjoyed playing baseball and hockey and then later in life enjoyed fishing, birdwatching, gardening and traveling south. Most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He made many friends over the years and enjoyed the time spent with them as well.

Barry is survived by his wife Sandra Senko, his children Terrence Boland (Jade) (Austin, Finn, Stella); Adam Kostur(Brittny); Clint Senko(Chase, Cole); Gina Senko(Luca Kuin); Evan Senko(Gabrielle)(Adler); Mother, Eva Senko; Brother, Myron Senko, Sister, Brenda Feuerstein and several nieces and nephews.

Barry is predeceased by his Father, Ted Senko; Sister, Sherry Hand (Senko) and several Aunts and Uncles.

The Service of Remembrance will be held on July 9th, 2026, 5:00 pm at 4840 Clarence Avenue in Grasswood, Saskatchewan with a lunch to follow.
