Later, remarrying the late Sharon Hadubiak and blended family with her son Craig.
Pops was an electrician most of his life, a skill he passed on to his sons.

Dad enjoyed making crafts, whittling and woodworking. Hunting, fishing and guns were a few of his other hobbies. He had a home-made shooting range where he honed his skills.
On the acreage, Bev and Steve reconnected in the later years, where Steve became a great source of support.
In Pop's last few months, he was the Vice President of the Tennant's board in Rosetown and was also a bingo caller. Both roles connected him to the community of Rosetown.

All Dad's friends and family are welcome.
"Early morning, I got the call, I feared the worst.
How could you leave us all behind?
How do I say goodbye to someone who's been with me, my whole damn life?
You gave me my name and the color of your eyes.
I see your face when I look at mine, so how do I say goodbye"
