Bill Aberdeen

William (Bill) George Aberdeen of Delisle, Saskatchewan passed away on June 10, 2023 after a lengthy illness.  Bill was born on May 19, 1948, in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

He leaves behind his son Mark, daughter-in-law Renee, grandson Ashton; sisters Judy (Al), Linda, Lori, Karen, Norma, and sister-in-law Denise.

Bill joins his beloved family members who predeceased him - father James, mother Verna, mother-in-law Jean, sister Brenda (Gord) and brother James (Jim) along with many nephews and nieces.

Bill will be remembered for being an avid hunter, fisher and one who loved the outdoors.  His favorite times were spent idling the boat at Diefenbaker Lake searching for “the big one,” hiding in the weeds hunting waterfowl, or traveling by snowmobile to visit friends.

He served in the Navy between 1965 and 1967, and spent much of his professional career as a pressman in Saskatoon at Modern Press.  Bill loved his family dearly and treasured his friends like family.  He will be dearly missed by all.
