Bill Carr

The passing of William George Carr (Bill), of Delisle, Sk., occurred on Monday, September 25, 2023, at St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit, in Saskatoon, Sk. at the age of 97.

Bill was born in Delisle Hospital in 1926 and farmed at Laura, Sk., from the age of 16 until he retired.

Bill is lovingly remembered by his daughter Colleen Avis Carr-Rodin (Cliff McKeever) and her family: Meghan (Shane) Groff and their children, Sullivan and Elizabeth; and Alexander Rodin and his daughter, Emma-Leigh; sister Phyllis (Jack) Raycroft and their family.  Bill was predeceased by his wife, Avis (Bentley) Carr; his son, Donnie (Cricket) Carr; his sisters Frona (Stewart) Keith, Edna Carr and his brother Jack (Kathleen) Carr and many extended family members.

A private family interment will take place at the Delisle Cemetery.
