Bonnie Harbicht (nee Dobson), age 82, of Saskatoon, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026. Born February 13, 1944 to Frank and Doris Dobson of Leask, Saskatchewan, Bonnie was the 5th of 8 children. She was educated as an X-Ray Technician and worked in several communities in Saskatchewan and Alberta before settling in Rosetown, where she met her soul mate Owen Harbicht. They were married in 1970 and settled into farming near Hughton where they raised their two children Darren and Dawn.
Bonnie lived a life full of love which was marked by her dedication to her family, community and friends. Bonnie was very active with the Anglican church in Rosetown as well as the many extracurricular activities their children were involved in throughout the years. She never missed a game or a recital.
Summers were spent fishing and camping throughout northern Saskatchewan or at their cabin on Lake Diefenbaker. Fishing, boating, and playing cards were sources of entertainment. Winters skiing in the mountains was also a highlight.
When their children were grown, Bonnie and Owen traveled with bus trips and cruises. Once retired, they moved to Saskatoon and ventured to Yuma for the winters where they made lifelong friends with the communities there. Road trips to visit friends and family were always a big adventure.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Owen, children Darren (Tetyana) Harbicht and Dawn (Scott) Masich and 4 beloved grandsons (Carson, Joshua, Alexander and Harrison); siblings Viola Stieb, Merle Dobson, Bill Dobson, Ray Dobson, Brenda Dobson, Lois Dobson, and Earlla (Roy) Jennett and many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie had spent her last 5 years at the Circle Drive Special Care Home. The family is forever grateful for the wonderful care she received there.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 30th at 2pm at the Edwards Family Centre 333 4th Ave North. Courtesy parking at Saskatoon Funeral Home. Because of construction go east on 25th Street and turn right into the alley behind Saskatoon Funeral Home.
