It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Boyd Parish at the age of 67 on Monday, October 23 rd in Edmonton, Alberta .
Boyd Merrill Parish was born on June 2 nd 1956 at Tobique Valley hospital in New Brunswick. Boyd was the 16 th of 18 children.
He is survived by his loving wife Darlene, beautiful daughters ; Jessica Kyle (Brad) Meliss a Sc hornagel ( Dustin) and Vanessa Moore and stepchildren ; Lisa Atcheynum and Nicholas Gagnon (Amanda) mother-in-law Viola Dumont, niece Joanna Atcheynum and sister-in-law, Patricia Atcheynum .
Brothers; Wendell (Shirley), Russell ( Shirley ) Doug (Sandra) Sisters; Esther Brewer , Peggy (Hughie) Diamond and 100+ nieces and nephews . ( too numerous to mention).
Grandchildren ; Leah, Cole, Sean (Jessica) Tommy, Rexton (Melissa) Joshua , Ashley (Vanessa)
Step grandchildren ; Diandra ( Desi) Savannah ( Ashley ) Krist e n (Aaron) Tris t e n ( Makayla ) Emmi Nova (Cherish)
Step great grandchildren; Dre, Ella (Tristin) Ezra, A lora (Diandra) Taheton , Ken ai (Kristin)
Pred eceased by his parents ; Lemuel and Elizabeth (Jenkins) Parish , brothers ; Herman , Perry , Stephen , Brian , Allan, Christopher . Sisters; Anna Lacey , Rena Cassista , Evelyn Knowlton and stepson Mitchell Ryan Gagnon.
Boyd loved camping, fly- fishing , hunting with his nephew s Herman and Michael Gray and spending time with his favorite girl, Ms. Harley and going on motorcycle rides with D arlene . He loved watching Josh and Ashley play football and spending time with them. He loved talking about his family back home and telling tall tales and riding with his buddie s , Eldon, Mario n and Sab u t .
Boyd had his own concrete company with his stepson Mitchell , Boyd was so proud be ing a Journeyman Concrete finisher, he took pride in his work, pointing at building s, driveways as we drove by them , stating I did the floors , driveways & foundations and h e worked concrete from early spring to late fall and driv ing Super B’s for the winter , tr avelling coast to coast for various trucking companies. His last trucking job was with BDF (the best trucking compan y ) he worked for “s aid in his own words ” .

There will be a time of remembrance and visitation on Wednesday November 1, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 4th Avenue North) The visitation will also be livestreamed via the link at the top of this tribute page.
