Bruno Ignace Baranieski

1931 — January 9, 2024

Bruno was born near Fairy Glen, SK. He married Josephine Lukowich on Oct. 2, 1951.

They farmed around Speers and Aylsham, moved to North Battleford in 2018 and then to Warman in 2022.

Bruno is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Josephine; daughters, Cecilia Dunn (Larry) and Diane Epp (Lloyd); sons, Dennis (Janet) and Ken (Shauna Denny); daughter-in-law, Melinda Baranieski; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Florence Hewitt.

He was predeceased by his son, Greg (2021); brother, Carl; and sisters, Elsie Manchur and Theresa Filbey.

Bruno would be honored to have donations made to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada in his name in memory of Greg.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Anne’s Parish (217 Lenore Drive, Saskatoon, SK.) on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The Rite of Committal will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery following the service.
