June 23, 1953 — December 29, 2025

The Livestream Link will be available HERE on the day of the service and will go live approximately 5 minutes before the event.

With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Cal. He had a massive stroke and was cared for compassionately by the staff at the Royal University Hospital. He is predeceased by his first wife Linda Holland, father Wilfred Holland, mother Bertha Holland, and brothers Kenneth Holland and Lorne Holland.

He will be deeply missed by his fiancée Helen Lachapelle, and numerous step children, that were such an important part of his life.

He will be lovingly missed by his brother Barry Holland (Joanne), sister Sharon Baliski (David), Marlene Prebushewski (Brian) and numerous nieces and nephews that loved him so much.

Cal growing up loved playing hockey and loved his time working at Central Plains Nursery and loved his time harvesting on his Grandpa’s farm at Colonsay. He lived on Gabriola Island British Columbia and in Ontario doing construction. He found is way back to Saskatoon where he worked for the past 25 year as a foreman for Wright Construction.

He had a love of the wind in his hair and wide-open roads. His love of motorcycles gave him the opportunity to travel the highway, through the United States and Central America. This adventure was shared with his best and long-time friend Del Anderson. Shortly after he reconnected with his past love, Helen, and they made great plans to enjoy retirement with the new camper and spending more time together.

Cal was such a good man, who would never hesitate to help anyone. He loved to laugh and have fun. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him loved him. He will be missed by all.

There will be a Memorial Service for Cal on Monday, January 5th, 10:00am at Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 4th Avenue North)
