Cecile Mary Smith

It is with broken hearts and tears in our eyes as we say good bye to our mother, Cecile Smith, on September 8, 2019 with her family by her side.  Mom was born in Manitoba on April 7, 1940.  She leaves behind her children, Raymond (Heather), Dale (Colleen), Wayne (Susan), Brian (Corinne), Mike (Colleen), Joanne, Randy (Eunice) and Lee-Ann (Brian); 17 beloved grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers Ron (Sandra) and Billy (Catherine); and many more whom she loved. She was predeceased by her father Alphonse Ducharme; mother Mary Demontigny; husband Walter Smith; and grandson Nicholas. A prayer service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 4th Ave, North). A Celebration of Cecile’s Life will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Russell, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
