Christianes "Chris" Jacobs

July 22, 1956 - December 1, 2025

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Chris (Christianes) Jacobs, beloved husband to Robin. He was an adored father to Heather (Curtis) and Leslie. He was a proud grandfather to Jacob, Reid, and Makenna. Chris is survived by 6 of his siblings - Henry, John (Sharon), Betty, Tony, Annette (Rick), and Mary; as well as several nieces and nephews. Chris is predeceased by his parents, Wilma & Gerry and his youngest brother, Jerry. Chris and Robin were 33 days from celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Chris was born and raised in Edmonton. He spent most of his working life in the building supply industry, which he loved. Eventually he took a transfer to Saskatoon in 1993. In semi-retirement, he drove school bus at First Student and did summer work at Greenbryre Golf & Country Club. Through it all, his great love was golf which included 3 holes-in-one. In recent years, he enjoyed camping in the motorhome with Robin & the dogs. Chris never really wanted dogs, but he instantily fell in love with each and every one of them from the moment they came into his life. He adored them fiercely and they returned that love tenfold. Amongst his friends, Chris was a proudly self-proclaimed "Cheap Dutchmen"!

A celebration of life will take place in the spring of 2026. The family will be in touch when there is a plan in place. Chris will be sorely missed by family and friends alike. Gone too soon. We love you.
