It is with very sad hearts that we announce the passing of Colin James Folk on Monday, May 27. Colin leaves to mourn his precious wife Patty and the two angels in his heart, Elijah James and Connor Christian along with his sister Beverley and Terry Greter from Red Deer, brother Terrence and Roxanne from Edmonton, Nanny from Prince George, brother-in-law  Glenn and Peggy from Prince Albert, sister-in-laws Janice and Pamela from Newfoundland, sister-in-laws Charlotte and Denise from Prince George,  brother-in-law Darryl and Sabrina from Victoria and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Colin spent close to 30 years working for Costco in the three Prairie Provinces. In 2016 Colin was transferred to Saskatoon to manage the north end Costco. Shortly after arriving, Colin was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Colin was such a fighter. He endured many days of battling the side effects of chemo yet was still a loving, caring and devoted husband and daddy.  Family and co-workers have admired his strong and courageous spirit which he displayed right up to his last hours. Colin is predeceased by his parents Kathy Meyers, Jim Folk, his brothers Vincent and Larry, sister-in-law Deborah Folk and father-in-law James Holden.  A celebration of Colin’s life will be held at the Saskatoon Funeral Home on Saturday, June 1 at 10 am, with Sue Panattoni as celebrant. The family is very appreciative to the care received through the doctors and nursing staff of the Palliative Care Team at St. Paul’s Hospital. Donations in memory of Colin can be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to support children with critical illnesses
