David Sam Batise Campeau

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Campeau on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the age of 77 years old.


David is predeceased by his father, Gilbert Campeau, and his mother, Clara Campeau. He is survived by his wife, Rose Waddington Campeau; his children Priscilla, Tracy (Arick (Renee) and children Sam and Avery), (Yasmin and children Brinley and Bexley)), David (Tanya) (children Peyton and Brooklyn) and Dalbert; and sister-in-law Edna (and her four children).


David was born near Lestock, SK. on April 29, 1941. He was raised in Allgrove, SK. with his brothers Gerald, Alvin and Wayne; and his sisters Rosa and Leona. David worked as a social worker, conservation officer, and a meat cutter. He retired as a meat cutter from Mitchell’s in 2006. David married Rose Waddington on September 26, 1965.


David’s favorite pastime was hunting waterfowl and big game.


David loved any opportunity to visit with family and friends. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren always brought a smile to his face and he loved to spoil them.
Any memorial donations can be made to the Diabetes Association.


A visitation will be  held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Westwood Funeral Chapel  located at 1402 20th Street West from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Saskatoon Funeral Home located at 338 4th Avenue North at 2:00pm. An Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Following the interment please join the family for lunch at the W.A. Edwards Family Centre located across the street from Saskatoon Funeral Home.
