David (Bao Hanh) Le

February 2, 1967 – November 23,2025

David (Bao Hanh), loving husband and father, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025. He is now in the caring hands of our Lord Jesus Christ. His beloved ones are Hannah Hoa Do (wife), John Le (son), Thi Hanh Le (Mother), My Hanh Le (older sister), and Quoc Hanh Le (younger brother). His father is Kim Nghia Le, who went to heaven with the Lord in 2010.

He was born in a Christian family in Sai Gon, Viet Nam. He went to Trung Vuong high school in District 1, Ho Chi Minh city, Viet Nam. He graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1997 and achieved degree of medical doctor. He worked as medical doctor in Hospital of District 7,Medic Hoa Hao Medical Clinic, Hoan My Hospital, International SOS. He had worked as Radiologist at Hanh Phuc Internal Women & Children Hospital until he immigrated to Canada on September 7, 2013. He was also a pastor in Vietnam. He served God dedicatedly in Cu chi Baptist Church and Binh Tan Methodist Church. He was an active volunteer in charity medical missions in the remote areas of Vietnam. He joined with many medical teams to help people in need in many remote places in Vietnam. He was an active member in Good Samaritan Medical Mission, Nehemia Medical Mission. In Canada, he worked as a sonographer. He used the ultrasound machine to detect the fetus in pregnant women and other body organs.

David and Hannah first met in the medical and dental charity mission in Can Tho, Vietnam. They together participated in many charity medical missions in Vietnam, they supported each other and fell in love while working together. They were married in 1999 and had 26 wonderful years together.

Our entire family loves God, worship God and serve God as David always stated in the scripture: “Now fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:14-15). We moved from Vietnam to Canada in 2013. We first landed in Toronto & lived there for few years, after that we moved to Cold Lake, Alberta, and finally settled down in Saskatoon since Jan 2024. We together enjoyed many memorable moments.

David could play piano, guitar. He loved music, and he collected many kinds of musical instruments. He enjoyed caring and looking fish swimming in the tank. Sometimes he went fishing with his friends in Cold Lake, AB.

David has fulfilled his responsibilities as a dutiful son of his parents, a lovely husband, a wonderful father, a talented and responsible doctor, and a dedicated pastor. At the end of his life, his organs were donated to save many lives. David had helped, sponsored and supported financially and emotionally his son (John Le) to get a medical doctor degree in Canada and his wife’s studies in Ottawa for 2 years.

Thank you everyone for your love, your care and your prayers while David was in hospital. David’ s family would like to thank the medical staff in the Royal University Hospital for your excellent care. We are so grateful for the kind help of pastor Blaine Eagle, Elim church, small group in the house of Gilbert & Mapol., leaders of Elim ESL group.

The Funeral Service for David will be held Wednesday November 26,2025, 1:00 pm at Elim Church, (419 Slimmon Road, Saskatoon). The service will be officiated by Pastor Blaine Eagle. Cremation will follow the service.
