In Loving Memory Of
DAWN ELEANA HAALAND - LEE
Dawn was born January 21st, 1955, at North Battleford, Saskatchewan, the second oldest child of Eleanor Haaland nee Skoog and Leroy Haaland. Her early childhood was spent in Alticane, SK., a place with many fond memories. The family moved to Saskatoon in 1966. Dawn attended Pleasant Hill School and Mount Royal Collegiate. She went on to university, where she took her Bachelor of Education. Dawn made a career change and went to work at Sasktel, where she spent the next 33 years. On her 21st birthday, she went out for the evening to celebrate and this is where she met Randy, the love of her life! They were married on June 29th, 1991. They just celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary. They went on a few trips together in their early years, which was a highlight for them both. They were truly a team that did everything together. Dawn loved her life as a proud wife, step-mom, and later, as grandma! She loved family time with her big family, laughing and singing and sharing good times. Dawn was an avid gardener, and her beautiful yard showed it. She was also a great seamstress and we all depended on her to keep us in stitches. She had a wicked sense of humour and a sharp tongue, which is what made her so special to all of us! Dawn died Monday, September 1st, 2025, in St. Paul's Hospital, Saskatoon, SK.
Dawn was predeceased by her mother Eleanor Skoog Haaland, her father Leroy Haaland, a sister Kimberley, her brothers Brian, Kelly and Greg, sister-in-law Marilyn Haaland, father-in-law Richard Lee, mother-in-law Helen Lee, brother-in-law Stafford Lee.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Randy, her siblings, Linda (Brian), Gary, Debbie (Ben), Dean (Dianne), Julie (Richard), Jody (Todd), Lisa (Wayne), and Trent (Karean). Randy's siblings Faith (Ron), Rickea (Gary), Laurie (Wade), Toni, Kim (Wayne), and Shane. Dawn will be greatly missed by all of her nieces, nephews, cousins and the special friends she had down at The Office.
