Donald Edward Sanders

Don Edward Sanders born May 22 1946 in Vanscoy SK died March 20, 2026.

He was the youngest of 10 children. He married his wife Linda April 27, 1974. 

Throughout his life, Don had many jobs including owning a tow truck business with his brother Harry where he worked as an autobody tech, he was in the navy reserves, worked with the commissionaires at RUH, worked at Nightingale nursing group and finally settled on being a nursing orderly at RUH and St. Paul's. 

Out of all of this, Don was most proud of raising his 3 boys (Mark, Ashley and Eric). Everyone always commented on how kind and fun he was. Always joking and loving others. His hobbies included power naps & yard work, watching wildlife, reading history books, playing cards and reciting bad dad jokes. 

He is survived by wife Linda, siblings Richard & Joyce, sons Mark (Sandra), Ashley (Amanda), and Eric (Kaylee), and grand daughter Sita as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
