Don died peacefully at Hinton, Alberta, surrounded by family, Sunday August 15. He is survived by his wife Doreen, sons Kevin and Kenton, several grandchildren, five brothers and one sister.

He was predeceased by his sister Helen and his parents Cecil and Rena. Don was born May 15, 1941 in Biggar, Saskatchewan.

He started work on the construction of the Pioneer elevators and went on to become a millwright working in Fort McMurray and other mills in Alberta and British Columbia. He married Doreen on August 7, 1964 in Bellingham, Washington.

Don was an outdoors man, fisherman and loved spending time with his family.

There will be a memorial service at 1:00 pm Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Saskatoon Funeral Home.
