Clif Thompson passed away at Luther Special Care Home on January 29, 2026. His family supported him throughout his long journey with Alzheimer's Disease.
Clif owned and operated Canadiana Automotive in Saskatoon and Lloydminster for 43 years. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren dearly, and were an important part of his life. Clif enjoyed curling, golfing, and his time in Arizona. Friends were important to Clif and he had regular lunches, and Sunday morning coffees with them.
Clif leaves to mourn; his wife of 55 years, Peggy Thompson (nee Redl); His daughter, Kari Thompson; His son, Brady Thompson (special friend Roxane Audet); His grandchildren; Rylee Thompson, and Preston Thompson; His sister Lynne Thompson of North Battleford; sister-in-law Kim Thompson of Calgary as well as his nieces and nephews.
Clif was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Marjorie Thompson; His brother, Gary Thompson of Calgary; As well as his in-laws, Al and Helen Redl.
At Clif's request, there will be no funeral. A private family interment will be at St. John's Cathedral Columbarium.
In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society in his name would be appreciated.
