It is with profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved mother, Donelda Bonnie Mae Hardie on Oct 6, 2026 at the age of 75 with her 3 daughters by her side. She was an incredible and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, mother in law and friend.
Donnie was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba on July 26, 1951 to James and Berna Hardie. She grew up in Saskatoon, Sk. She attended and graduated from Mount Royal Collegiate, where she met Eric Kuhn whom she later married. They moved to Victoria, had 3 beautiful girls, and she worked for the Parliament buildings. Donnie moved back to Saskatoon and began working at POS Pilot Plant for 17 years. She was a Judo Saskatchewan volunteer, coffee lover, animal lover, and above all, she cherished spending time with her family. She later earned a diploma in business management, began working at Saskatoon Housing Authority and at the Heritage Inn until she retired.
Friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances will always remember Donnie for her remarkable kindness, generous heart, warmth, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Donelda leaves behind her 3 children, Sabrina Hubbard (Rafael), Kimberly Hardie and Tracy Kozakevich (Sheldon), Grandchildren: Elle, Kadence, Benson, Zoey, Adara and Lux; as well as her extended family who will cherish her memory.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jam and Berna; her brother Dennis; and her sister Ellen Stohl.
At Donnie's request, there will be no funeral service. Her love, kindness and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Arrangements entrusted to Saskatoon Funeral Home, 306-244-5577.
