Doris Stephen

Doris Stephen July 8, 1929 – November 25, 2017 Doris Stephen 88, loving Mother of Martin Stephen, passed away on November 25, 2017. Doris was born to Michael and Vera Ludba of Canora, Saskatchewan on July 8, 1929. She married Earl Stephen and they had two boys Martin and Donald. Earl was a CIBC Bank Manager, and the family moved with him as he was transferred to and from many places in Saskatchewan. Both, Martin and Donald were born in Biggar, Saskatchewan, and from there transferred to Landis, Lucky Lake, Regina, Watson and then finally to Radisson where Doris lost her husband Earl on May 15, 1979. She remained in Radisson and worked at the grocery store until retirement age. She was always kindhearted and was loyal in her support of the town. Sadly, on April 4, 2016, Doris lost her youngest son Donald who was battling cancer. After his death, in May 2016, Doris moved into the Borden Care Home. Doris is survived by her oldest son Martin, his wife Darlene, two granddaughters Brittany and Amber, and her favorite dog Bear.
