Dorothy Adamson

ADAMSON – Mrs. Dorothy Eileen Adamson (nee Suttill), age 91, of Saskatoon, died in her home in Saskatoon on Monday, September 11, 2017. Dorothy is survived by her children, Gerry (Barbara), Barbara (Neil) Hodgson, Laura (Tom) Blackwell, Lynn and Sandra; her grandchildren Kim (James) Steele, Andrew (Barbara) Adamson, Chris (Rachel) Blackwell, Jeff Hodgson, and great grandchildren Alexa, Cameron, Samantha, Zach and Emma. She was predeceased by her husband Ed, her son David, her parents John and Barbara Suttill, brothers and sisters, John Suttill, Betty (Henry) Keep, Ken (Myrtle) Suttill, Henry (Marg) Suttill, Bill Suttill, Jim Suttill, Kay (Eldon) Bennett, Rona (Bob) Viola. Born April 2, 1926 on the family farm (Pymore Ranch) near Lestock Sask. She moved to Saskatoon for Grade 12 and attended the Saskatoon Tech. She worked at Eaton’s where she met Ed and they married in 1948. A natural athlete she enjoyed softball, track, bowling, curling and golf. She spent her life providing guidance, encouragement and support for her 6 children and her husband in all their endeavours. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
