Dorothy Rose Cameron

With great sorrow, our family announces the loss of our mother, grandmother, great and great great grandmother, peacefully on August 29, 2018.  Dorothy was born on Nov 16, 1918 in Simpson, SK.  She moved to Saskatoon in 1938 and resided there until ill health forced a move to the Dinsmore Health Care Centre.  She was predeceased by her husband, Jim, in 1971 and son, Larry, in 2004.  She is survived by her son Jim (Bev); daughter Beverlee (Wayne); daughter Linda (Vern) and her sister, Hazel.  She also leaves behind, 10 grandchildren; Chris, Jennifer; Pamela, Dean; Marliss, Cameron; Tracy, Blair, Mark and Kirk. Also left are 13 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held on Thursday, September 6, at 2:00 p.m. from Saskatoon Funeral Home with Sue Panattoni as celebrant.
