She was predeceased by her life partner, Thomas Travis, parents Inez and Stanley Tucker, brother Duane Tucker, sister-in-law Joyce Tucker, sister Delores Tucker, long time friend Ann Woods, and Great Aunt Pearl and Great Uncle Alf.

Born on September 27, 1940, in a farmhouse near Radville, SK, Dorothy was the cherished daughter of Inez (née Ror) and Stanley Tucker. She grew up alongside her siblings Duane, Daryl, Deanna, Dennis, and Delores in a loving and hardworking family.

Dorothy's journey took her to London, England, in the 1960s, where she worked as a legal secretary, spent time with extended family new friends, and experienced the vibrant culture of the city. Her time there was brief, as she returned to Saskatchewan to care for her ailing mother, a testament to her selflessness and devotion to family.

In Saskatchewan, Dorothy married and started her own family, raising two children, John and Robin, with unwavering love and care. Her six grandchildren-Ty, Connor, Sean, Sarah, Samantha, and Sophia-were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Dorothy's life was a tapestry of service, creativity, and love. She donated money to many different charities. She worked as a teacher's assistant at Govan School, drove the school bus as a courier for the school district , and took on various farm chores with a dedication that exemplified her strong work ethic. Dorothy also found joy in cooking, baking, sewing, drawing, writing poetry and gardening, and she shared these passions with those around her. Her talent for photography and scrapbooking captured the beauty of life's moments, creating lasting memories for her family.

A devoted member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Govan, Dorothy was known for her kindness, ambition, and deep faith in God. She was a compassionate soul who looked after others, always putting the needs of her loved ones before her own.

Dorothy was predeceased by her life partner, Tom Travis, who passed away on June 2, 2024. Their bond was unbreakable, and they will be laid to rest side by side in Govan Cemetery.

Though her time on earth has come to an end, Dorothy's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She is reunited with her beloved Tom and is now at peace.
