Douglas Dahl

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Douglas (Doug) Dahl on August 25, 2025 at St. Paul's Hospital at the age of 74. Doug is survived by his wife Marlene F. Brown, brothers Neil Harvey, Dennis, Marvin, and Richard, and sisters Shirley and Mary and their families. He was predeceased by his parents James and Lilly May and his brother Jerry.

Doug was born in Swift Current, SK and worked with his family in the restaurant and hotel industry for a number of years. He loved to travel and work from place to place throughout the province. He eventually settled in Saskatoon in the 1980's and worked in a number of different maintenance positions. In the early 2000's Doug met Marlene. He was proud to have received his boiler ticket which led to so many interesting jobs over the years. Doug and Marlene eventually moved into Scott Forget Towers, where he resided until his passing.

Doug loved to watch sports. He was fond of every type of event, but especially enjoyed watching football and soccer. He was very knowledgeable with the team and player statistics. He was also an avid cyclist and would travel on his bike all around the city to visit friends and run errands. Doug put everyone else first and tried his best to keep in touch with family.

At Doug's request no funeral service will be held.
