Edna was born on December 9, 1930, in the Merryhome District to Peter and Elena Bezpaloff. She was the fourth of eight children. In November 1948, she married our father, Fred Androsoff, and together they made their home in Blaine Lake.
Edna devoted her life to her family, raising her children while tending vegetable and flower gardens and working the farm for over 60 years. She took great pride in her gardens, always ensuring there was enough to share with those in need. She was an active member of the Blaine Lake Figure Skating Club and the Doukhobor Ladies Club. Never one to slow down, she also worked for 10 years at Canadian Tire in Saskatoon.
Edna was predeceased by her husband, her siblings, and two young children. She leaves behind her children, Larry and Judy (Henry); her grandchildren, Elycia and Will; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Hafford Home Care and to all the healthcare workers who supported her daily. Your care and compassion made it possible for our mother to remain at home in comfort during her final years.
The funeral will be held on Monday, April 13 at the Saskatoon Funeral Home at 10 AM. Edna will be laid to rest at Ospenia Cemetery in Blaine Lake.
