Bettye Bouchard (1944-2025) passed away gracefully Saturday, May 3, 2025 aged 80, in Saskatoon SK with family by her side. Born and raised in Estevan, she lived in communities in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Her paid and extensive volunteer work is inspiring, including nursing, kindergarten, church, community food programs, and libraries. This was in addition to her many acts of surprising others with thoughtfulness and other service. She enjoyed family, Facetime, practical jokes, clean humor, crafts, recipes, lake time, campfires, card games, softball, music, clipping sayings and jokes, and especially sharing hearty laughs. Her favorite things included prayer, butterflies, pets, the color blue, spiritual music, crocuses, prairie lilies, root beer and cinnamon.

"...we never say good-bye with our hearts."

"...be not afraid...the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Bettye consistently showed patience and empathy toward everyone, whether she knew them personally or not. In experiencing loss and life's challenges, she cultivated a positive perspective and prayer practice. Her gentle smile and beautiful laugh are dearly treasured and missed. Bettye is cherished by her son, Bruce and family (Wanda, Russell, Kate); sisters, Marlene and Donna and their families; among other beloved and extended family in-laws & outlaws. She was predeceased by beloved husband, Alex; daughter, Tricia; and 3 children in infancy; her parents, Bob and Mae; and siblings, Floyd and George.
