Ernest Thiele

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ernie Thiele, beloved husband, father, grandpa, on April 29, 2025 at Royal University Hospital surrounded by his family.

He is predeceased by his beloved daughter, Laureen; his parents, Frank and Sophie; 5 brothers, 4 sister-in-laws; 3 sisters, 3 brother-in-laws; and in-laws John and Kay Slusarchuk.

Ernie will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Marlene; his son Scott, daughter-in-law Erica, grandsons Jesse and Kellen; Brad O’Keefe, grandsons Jake and Carter; and grandson Bradley Dressler.

Ernie will now guide and watch over us, while holding hands of those we have lost.

A Memorial Service for Ernie Thiele will be held at St. Patrick Parish, 3339 Centennial Drive, Saskatoon, SK. on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
