Eva Stegemann

“Samaquew” meaning beautiful It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our sister into Christ on October 12, 2016. Eva Stegemann is lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Hans; daughter Janet; grandchildren Matthew, Tracy, Amy, Andrew, Maria; sisters Marie, Stella (Jim), Sarah; brothers Peter and John; her great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Janet McPherson; sisters Mary, Margaret, Dorothy, Rose Marie; brothers Isaac, Walter, George; children Deloras, George, “Poncho”, and Larry. Eva was a long-time member of Women’s Aglow and was involved with prison ministry in Kenora, ON. She was a wonderful cook and always thought of others before herself. We will all miss her generous soul, and her good and loving heart. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Elim Church (419 Slimmon Rd).
