October 12, 1923 - June 7, 2020

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. Florence was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Alex, her parents, four brothers, and her son-in-law, Lorne Larson. She was born in Northern England and met Alex while stationed with the RAF. They were married in 1944, and in 1946 she immigrated to Canada with other war brides, first landing at Halifax Pier 21 and then coming to Saskatoon. They spent many years travelling and camping with friends and family. She is survived by daughters Brenda (Tom) Lawton and Vera Larson, Grandchildren Randy (Sherri) Singler, Darcy (Maebeth) Singler, Erika (Greg) Kornak, Regan (Jay) Winters, Courtney (Mike) Read, Stephanie (Jeremy) Maslen, and ten Great Grandchildren. We would like to thank Dr. Harrington, Rose Lafontaine, Betty Sandulak, and especially Saskatoon Convalescent Home for their compassionate care. There will be a family graveside service at a later date.
