Florence A. Ward

Florence A. Ward Jan. 13, 1931 -- April 3, 2017 Born in Port William, Ontario, Flo was one of 4 siblings (Robert, Betty, Lorne). She lived in BC and Alberta but spent most of her adult life in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where she and her late husband Richard raised three sons. Flo worked in the banking industry, but was passionate about traveling, catering, and acting in local theatre productions. As an active member of Knox United Church and a member of the choir for over 50 years, she developed a wide circle of friends and an extended family that she held dear over the many years. They, along with her immediate family: sons Ley (Flo Frank), Darcy (Dianne) and Shawn (grandson Christopher) and her remaining sibling, brother Lorne, will miss her laughter, her quick wit and her sense of purpose. Flo was a wonderful woman, full of life and love and interested in many things. She opened her home and heart to many and cared deeply about those who entered into her life. She leaves a legacy of grace, kindness, song and laughter.
