Georgia Helen Celic

Georgia Celic was born January 15, 1933 and passed away peacefully November 28, 2020 with her loving sister by her side at Royal University Hospital.

She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Schesniuk; parents, George and Anka Celic; and sisters, Maria Bendekovic and Dragica Celic.

She is survived by; her sister, Zlata Murphy; great nieces, Julia Thiessen (Mark), Torrie and Danika; Julia’s daughters; great nephew Thomas Milburn (Catherine) who are in Indonesia.

She grew up in Zagreb coming to Canada in 1956 with her husband Joseph and her niece Zenia.  She lived the rest of her life in Saskatoon close to her sister.  They enjoyed spending time together going on several long trips to Croatia.  She enjoyed collecting angels and so many beautiful things especially when they came in her favorite colors.

A private memorial service will be held to honour Georgia’s life.
