It is with deep sadness that the family announce the peaceful passing of Glen Donald Curtis Jones on May 21, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on August 23, 1961 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Glen was the middle child and only son of Margaret and Donald Jones. He was raised with two sisters Melinda Bueckert and Barb Adilman.
Glen’s greatest pride and the light of his life was his wife Maricel {Cel} Lucanas-Jones, daughter Cheyenne Jones and son Kieran Jones.
His early career began with work on driving truck, driving ambulance as well as being a Christian concert promoter. The job he loves most and was dear to his heart was that of being a Chaplin.
Glen’s love for his wife was unwavering and profound—a constant source of purpose, joy, and strength. He always spoke of her with love and pride.
He was over the moon when he was gifted the role of DAD to Cheyenne and Kieran.
Glen’s journey was not without its challenges. He faced health struggles with courage and perseverance, reminding those who loved him of the importance of compassion, understanding, and strength in the face of adversity.
He leaves behind his loving wife Cel, children Cheyenne, Kieran, two sisters Melinda; Art Bueckert, & Barb; Greg Adilman as well as numerous of nieces and nephews. In laws Estrella; Lucio Lucanas, Richard; Carla Lucanas, Marilou; Resty Pacquing, Michael Lucanas, Trish Lucanas, Sebastian and Ethan Pacquing.
Celebration of Life will be held St. Patrick’s Church at 3339 Centennial Drive, Saskatoon at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 26th 2026.
Our family would like to extend sincere gratitude the staff at RUH, St. Paul’s Hospital lastly Glengarda Hospice who cared for Glen, with compassion and dedication your kindness and support will never be forgotten.
