Guy Harold Letourneau

Guy Letourneau made his final journey home peacefully on October 7th, 2026 at the age of 71.

He is survived by his siblings: Gaetane (Marlowe), Jocelyne, Joel (Tina), RéAnne (Sisters of the Presentation of Mary); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Albert, Francoise, and his brother Roger.

Guy lived fully the simple pleasures of life - enjoyed being with family, playing cards, watching sports (Go Habs!) and going out for coffee at his favourite restaurants. He will be known for his outgoing and friendly nature, striking up conversations and making friendships. Just recently some staff and customers at the Coachman restaurant in Market Mall asked how he was doing...he left a lasting impression!

Our family wants to acknowledge Alcoholics Anonymous, a fellowship that Guy was involved in for many years, and was central to his life. We also express gratitude for those that cared for Guy in the group homes he lived, as well as the staff at Porteous Lodge, and Parkridge Centre where he resided the last few years.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026 at 2:00 pm from Saskatoon Funeral Home Chapel, with Fr Kevin McGee presiding.
