It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Irene Foster (née Davis), on November 2, 2025.

Irene was born on May 11, 1951, and grew up in Ardath, Saskatchewan, and the King George area in Saskatoon.

Family was at the heart of everything Irene did. She dedicated her life to being a loving mother and homemaker, finding joy and purpose in caring for those she loved most.

Irene loved visiting with friends, playing board and card games, and doing puzzles. She especially enjoyed watching all of the birds that visited her feeders and spending time with her furry family members.

Irene believed deeply that all people were equal and that respect should be given freely. She carried that belief throughout her life, treating everyone she met with kindness and compassion.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her daughters Doris (Tim) Harrison, Terry (Ruben) Peters, Lorie (Sean Weber), and Kim; her eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; her brother Walter (Betty) Davis; sister-in-law Karen Davis, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Dorothy Davis, her sister Ethel (Jim) Brown, and brothers Fred (Janet) and Wray Davis.

As per Irene's request, there will be no funeral service. She will be laid to rest at the St. John's Cathedral Columbarium in Saskatoon.

Those wishing to honor her memory may make a donation to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul's Hospital or to the Lung Association.

Irene's legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her
