Irene passed away on September 3, 2021.  She was predeceased by her loving husband Emil in 2003 and son Rick in 2015.  She is survived by daughters: Connie, Terry (Rob), Tracy (Jeremy) and son Mark (Korin); grandchildren: Terrell (Jenny), Dale (Blanca), Lee (Ashleigh), Devin and Madeline; brother, Victor (Evelyn Korol); great granddaughter, Irene and daughters-in-law Wendy and Sandra.

Irene was born on the family farm north of Colonsay , SK. She married Dad, her soul mate, on July 19 ^th , 1954.  They made their home in Colonsay.  The two of them always had fun together and really enjoyed each others company.  Mom’s life passions included gardening, cooking, fishing, camping and travelling.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren doing all the above activities and as a result each of them grew to be tremendous cooks, gardeners and adventurers.  The birth of her great granddaughter Irene gave Mom the greatest joy of all.

As per Mom’s wishes, a private family graveside service will take place.  In lieu of flowers or cards, please donate to Stensrud Lodge ( 2202 McEown Ave. Saskatoon , SK S7K 3L6 ).  Thank you Stensrud staff for taking such good care of Mom.
