Irene Josephine Poirier

Irene Poirier passed away at the age of 91 on Friday, April 3, 2020. She is survived by her sister Jamila William and two brothers Isaac and Jeff Jacobs. Irene was born on the 15 ^th day of November 1929. Born and raised in the town of Taxla, Pakistan. She also went to school there. She worked as a nanny in Rawalpindi. She married at the age of 43. Irene belonged to the United Church. She loved to knit for charities. Being the oldest sister in the family she always kept good relations with the family. There will be a private graveside service, Tuesday, April 7 at Woodlawn Cemetery.
