Jamie Mertz

The death of Miss Jamie Mertz occurred at Sherbrooke Community Centre at the age of 55, on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Surviving are her siblings; sister Denise and husband Jim Eyre along with their children Jaycee and Nathan Eyre, brother Braden and wife Marnie Mertz and their son Garrett. She was predeceased by her parents Jim and Dianne, Grandma Mertz, Grandma and Grandpa Heidecker and her great Grandma Hay and her uncles. Jamie was born and raised in Saskatoon. She attended Nutana Collegiate, did some work at the Saskatchewan Abilities Council in Saskatoon and then resided at Sherbrooke. Jamie loved life, talking with people, playing cards and doing crafts. Memorial donations can be made to Sherbrooke Community Centre (401 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7H 2E7). A family graveside memorial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
