Jean-Philippe Deneault

It is with great sadness, that JP’s family announces his passing away at Parkridge Center on November 12, 2025 at the age of 49. Born in Ottawa, for the past 15 years in Saskatoon, Jean-Philippe was the Communication Agent for La Troupe du Jour and Open Door Society. Involved with la communauté fransascoise, he reported cultural events in Saskatchewan’s French newspaper L’eau Vive, hosted Couleurs Café at CFCR 90.5FM, Saskatoon’s community radio station. With SODS, he revitalized the communication program, participating closely in establishing Threads: Cultural Conversations featuring stories of people across Canada and around the world. He will be remembered as one who was fiercely curious about people, and was an integral part of all their interconnected lives.

Our family would like to thank sincerely the staff of aisle 2 B of Parkridge and the St-Paul Hospital for their care of JP during this past year. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Edward’s Family Centre, 333 4th Avenue North, Saskatoon. Parking is available across the street at Saskatoon Funeral Home. Arrangements entrusted to Saskatoon Funeral Home, 306-244-5577.
