Joan Lewis June 22, 1937 – April 6, 2017 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our grandmother and sister, Joan Lewis on Thursday April 6th, 2017 at City Hospital in Saskatoon, at the age of 79. Left to mourn her loss are her family; grandsons Justin (Jennifer), Tyler (Christianne); 5 Great Grandchildren; Austin, Dylan (their mother Shondra) Devon, Caden & Madeline. Her daughter Constance & brother Jack (sister in law Janet), numerous nieces and nephews; and many good friends. Joan was predeceased by her husband Tom Lewis, daughter Bonnie, sister Hazel, and parents Jim and Margaret Norrie. Grandma Joan was born on June 22nd, 1937 in Donavon, SK on the Family Farm, where she spent her childhood growing up. She took her high schooling in Donavon, SK. In 1952 at the age of 15 she started dating her future husband Tom, marrying him in November of 1954, and started their family of two girls. They lived in Saskatoon until 1982, when they moved to Pike Lake where they built their last house. Grandma was a caring, hard working woman who loved her family and wanted the very best for them. She was an excellent cook and housekeeper who loved to entertain. Grandma loved people, enjoying her grandkids, driving to the jobsites, music, curling and Tim Hortons.
