It is with profound sadness the family of Joey Kenneth Eager announce his passing on January 12, 2025 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Royal University Hospital.
Left to cherish his everlasting memory is his daughter, Wanda (Glenn) Konkin of Saskatoon; grandsons, Karsten and Kynan Konkin of Saskatoon, SK.; special companion, Graciela Gerometta of Mesa, Arizona; and longtime youthful friends, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Rebin of Blaine Lake, SK.
Joey was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Tena Egeroff; sisters, Annie (George) Matiko and Helen (Nick) Perversoff; wife, Joyce Eager; and son, Warren Eager.
The family of Joey Eager wish to thank all those who provided much of their time in so many different ways so that he was able to remain where he always wanted to be... on the farm. Also to the staff at the Maya Private Care Home for their effort in providing Joey the care in his time spent in their facility. To all the numerous medical and healthcare professionals within the Royal University Hospital facility for their unwavering dedication, gentleness, kindness and understanding given to him while in their care. For all those who helped and gave care throughout the years to Joey, you have the families forever eternal heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.
There will be a Visitation from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Saskatoon Funeral Home. Followed by the Funeral Service on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place at Pazeraevka Cemetery 3 miles east of Blaine Lake, SK.
