John Bond

October 26, 1937 — April 14, 2025

John L Bond passed away on April 14, 2025, at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon after a brief illness with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doreen, Daughters Donna and Debbie (Craig), Granddaughter Jacklyn, Brother Bob (Colleen), Sister-in-law Myrna (Ron), Sister-In-Law Beryl, and many Nieces and Nephews.

John "Jack" was predeceased by his parents Richard and Nora Bond, Mother and Father-in-Law Wilbert and Alice Dearborn, Brothers-In-Law Joe Dearborn, Warren Dearborn and Sister-in-Law Nettie Dearborn.

Jack was born in Kelvington Saskatchewan on October 26, 1937. He grew up on a nearby farm in Lintlaw. Later, as an adult, he lived in Quesnel, BC where he worked in the logging industry. He then moved to Saskatoon and worked at Olympic Meats in various positions for 38 years, the majority in Payway Feeds. He began his retirement adventure in 1997. Jack enjoyed time with his family, working in the yard, and tending to his vegetable garden. You could be certain that he and Doreen would be glued to the tv during curling matches. He also enjoyed watching his Granddaughter playing in various sports.

From Jack's youth on the farm to his senior years, Jack would reminisce with warmth and a smile - the joyful stories of a life well lived. Jack was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. His generous and thoughtful nature will never be forgotten. We will keep his kindness and his joy in our hearts.

At Jack's request there will be no funeral or memorial service. For those who wish to do so, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice.
