JOHN MELNYCHUK

December 1, 1934 - September 30, 2024

John Melnychuk passed away peacefully on September 30 at Saskatoon City Hospital. 

He was born in Petrofka and grew up on a farm south of Saskatoon. After graduating from Saskatoon Technical College he opened Mac Mel Sales and Service doing camera and small appliance repair. John loved to garden and took pleasure in sharing the bounty of his harvest with family and friends. 

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Pat, daughters Nancy and Peggy (Todd) and grandsons Tristen and Jayden. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary, brother Andy, and sisters Rose Kardynal and Jean Mills.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
