Judith Kennedy

Judith "Judy" Kennedy, revered as a pillar of strength, bravery, and unyielding positivity, passed away on May 19, 2025. Born on June 20th, 1960 to Fred & Lucy Howarth, she was the second oldest of five children. Judy was known for her warmth, generosity, humor and the undeniably loving spirit she brought into the world. Her greatest joy was the love of her departed husband Wayne Kennedy. Judy leaves behind four children, Barbara Schnurr (Cory), Lyle Kennedy (Sherry), Jeffrey Kennedy (Kim) & Samantha Kennedy She also leaves behind many deeply adored grandchildren, her surviving siblings Penny, Terry & Jack along with a multitude of other family members & dear friends.

Among Judy's most significant accomplishments was raising her four children, whom she held as her pride and joy along with her many grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by many loved ones. With a beautiful family tree consisting of both blood ties and bonds formed from the heart, her reach was as far as it was wide, and she was cherished deeply by many.

Judy served in Social Work for a considerable part of her life before moving on to having many different types of employment, encompassing various industries, roles, and skill requirements. Yet, even amidst the challenges life recently brought her way, Judy never wavered in her compassion for others. She continued to support her family and extend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Her legacy is one of unyielding kindness and generosity. Even with little to spare, Judy continued to give and help others. Even when sick or in pain, she never faltered in caring for her loved ones more than she did for herself.

A Celebration of Life will take place on May 25, 2025 at 1:00PM at Saskatoon Funeral Home. Those wishing to pay their respects and celebrate her life are welcomed.
