Judy Ekstrand

Ida Judith “Judy” Ekstrand 1944-2015 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of beloved wife and mother Ida Judith Ekstrand nee Haughton on October 8, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Gordon, of 48 years and daughters Heather (Sheldon) Baerg and Jennifer (Jeff) Serby, her sisters Mildred Malott, Pat (Clare) Phillips, brother-in-law Robert Thorn, sister-in-law Elvina (Ernie) Hirsch, brother-in-law Aldon (Maxine) Ekstrand and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving daughter Stacey Lee, parents Willard and Ann Haughton, brother Robert Haughton, sister Shirley Thorn, brother-in-law Don Malott as well as nephew Morgan Phillips and in-laws Emil and Carrie Ekstrand. Judy was born August 19, 1944 at Arborfield, SK then moved to Sutherland where she completed high school and graduate nursing. After Gordon and Judy were married they have live in Morden, MB, Sutherland, Brooksby, Melfort, North Battleford, Dalmeny and back to Saskatoon for the past 18 years. The family extends heartfelt thanks to MD Ambulance and RUH staff for their caring and support.
